We have had a few ripe tomatoes already - there is lots of basil ready and the plums are just about ripe.

Where, exactly, is the FRONT YARD on your apartment? Is that where you've planted your peppers and tomatoes?
We hide our modest vegetable selection in the back yard to keep our poor neighbors from stealing it. We grow weeds in the front to make it look like we aren't green thumbs.
