A strong Arctic cold front currently over western Canada isexpected to blast into the Dakotas Friday night and acrossWisconsin Saturday. Temperatures will plunge below zero Saturday night and Sunday morning as a result. ...Winds gusting 35-45 mph will generate blowing snow and wind chill readings will be 20-30 below zero.

Man, I'm just going to start heading here for my weather forecasts - it's like weather.com & weatherunderground all rolled into one!
I know I used to provide commentatry about how much the weather sucks here, but it was all gloom-and-doom all the time, so now I just post about the weather and leave the interpretation open to the viewers.
Also I suspect that since the prospect for several more years of living in Madison now looms large, you are needing to get past the all gloom and doom and come to terms with reality. MMM, lovely Madison where you get real seasons. Not just various shades of dripping like the NW. You have learned "to settle for" like all good mid-western residents. Next, a nice midwestern car.
